The New York Milk Bank Announces Rachel Granger as its new executive director

[Valhalla, NY] — [January 8, 2024] — The Board of Directors of The New York Milk Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Granger as the organization's new executive director, effective January 2, 2024. This appointment follows the dedicated service of Linda Harelick, the outgoing executive director. 

Linda Harelick’s contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing the mission of The New York Milk Bank. The Board extends its heartfelt appreciation to Linda for her committed service and leadership during her tenure as executive director and wishes her much success in her next chapter.  

Rachel Granger is a non-profit leader who has devoted her career to the public health and emergency response and recovery sectors. Rachel directed long-term recovery programs including those following the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia and the 2010 Haiti earthquake.  Rachel has also overseen medical aid deliveries and health programming, including maternal and child health initiatives, with partners in 30+ countries. Rachel has a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Development from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and is excited to bring her years of experience in program and partnership development to her new role as the executive director of The New York Milk Bank.
