The Customer Service & Order Fulfillment Coordinator is a critical team member responsible for serving hospital personnel and community members who require donor milk to nourish their babies by providing excellent customer service, processing orders, dispensing, and packing bottles of donor milk, and coordinating shipments to hospitals and families.

  •  Field orders with a high level of customer service by effectively communicating with
    hospitals and families via emails and phone calls
  • Accurately and efficiently process orders of donor milk according to established
    protocols
  • Oversee shipping of orders through FedEx, courier service, and in-person pickup
  • Maintain clear, accurate records according to established procedures
  • Assist with inventory management and freezer organization system
  • Stock necessary supplies at the start and end of each day
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work area

 

  • Excellent communication skills via phone and email
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow established protocols
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Able to learn new tasks and multi-step processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with computer systems; working knowledge of MacOS and database
    experience a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive subject matter and documents with private information
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety preferred (can be trained)
  • Able to maintain clean conditions according to protocols
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis
  • Work independently and as part of the team
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt position, 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday)
  • Location: Valhalla, NY
